01 - Sri Lanka overview in three days -2

Description

  •     DAY 1.

    Meeting at the airport (or hotel) with a guide early in the morning.
    Transfer to Sigiriya (road from Colombo about 4 hours).
    Climbing the Sigiriya rock
    After lunch, arrival in Khabarana, transfer to a jeep for a safari and watch the national. Minneriya park.
    At the end of the safari, check-in at the hotel, rest and overnight.

      DAY 2.

      Breakfast.
      Then drive to Dambulla and visit the cave temple in Dambulla (1 hour).
      Transfer to Kandy, on the way we visit spice gardens (optional).
      After lunch, a sightseeing tour of Kandy, a show of national dances (16:30-17:30), a visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic.
      Check-in at the hotel, rest and overnight.

        DAY 3.

        Breakfast.
        Visit to the royal botanical garden
        Transfer to the beach hotel or airport.
        On the way visit a small tea plantation and a tea factory.

Description

  • DAY 1.

    Meeting at the airport (or hotel) with a guide early in the morning (04:40-05:00).
    Transfer to Sigiriya (road about 4 hours). Climbing Sigiriya rock (2 hours).
    Then drive to Dambulla and visit the cave temple in Dambulla (1 hour).
    Dinner.
    Moving to Kandy.
    Optional excursion to spice gardens on the way.
    In Kandy, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic.
    Rest and overnight at the hotel.

  • DAY 2.

    Breakfast .
    Departure at 7-30. Transfer to Peradeniya, visiting the Royal Botanical Gardens (2 hours).
    Moving to Nuwara Eliya.
    On the way we will visit a tea factory, we will see a huge number of tea plantations, as well as waterfalls (Ramboda Falls), beautiful landscapes.
    Lunch at the Ramboda waterfall.
    A short walk to Nuwara Eliya (30-40 minutes).
    Moving to Ella.

    Overnight at the hotel in Ella

DAY 3.

Breakfast
At 08:00 departure from the hotel.
Transfer to the 9-arch bridge, inspection, photography (1 hour), then ascent to the small peak of Adam (1.5 hours).
Transfer to Yala (road 2 hours).
On the way we will see the Ravana waterfall.
After lunch visit to the national Yala Park (14:00-17:30)
Transfer to the beach hotel (about 3 hours on the road)
