01 - The whole of Ceylon in four days

Description

  • DAY 1.

    Meeting at the hotel with a guide.
    Moving to Sigiriya.
    On the way, visiting the elephant nursery, optionally riding an elephant, a cave temple in Dambulla.
    After rest and lunch, climb to the rock of Sigiriya.

  • DAY 2.

    Breakfast.
    At 07:30 Departure from the hotel.
    Transfer to Kandy, on the way we visit spice gardens (optional).
    Visit to the Royal Botanical Gardens.
    After lunch, a sightseeing tour of Kandy (30 min), a show of national dances (16:30-17:30), a visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic (1 hour).
    Check-in at the hotel, rest and overnight.

  • DAY 3.

    Breakfast.
    Moving to Nuwara Eliya.
    On the way, visit a tea factory, see tea plantations, waterfalls (Ramboda Falls), lunch, beautiful scenery.
    Walk in Nuwara Eliya.
    Rest and overnight at the hotel.

  • DAY 4.

    Early in the morning at 05:00 check-out from the hotel, transfer to the Horton Plateau.
    The hiking route in the national park is about 10 km, and includes a large and small “end of the world” and the Baker Falls waterfall.
    Then transfer to the beach hotel or to the airport.

02 - All Ceylon in 4 days

Description

  • DAY 1.

    Meeting at the airport (or hotel) with a guide early in the morning.
    Transfer to Anuradhapura (road from Colombo about 4 hours).
    Visiting the first historical capital of Sri Lanka – Anuradhapura, sightseeing (3 hours).
    After lunch, arrival in Khabarana, transfer to a jeep for a safari and watch the national. Minneriya park.
    At the end of the safari, check-in at the hotel, rest and overnight.

  • DAY 2.

    Breakfast.
    07:30 Arrival and ascent to the Sigiriya rock (2 hours).
    Then drive to Dambulla and visit the cave temple in Dambulla (1 hour).
    Transfer to Kandy, on the way we visit spice gardens (optional).
    After lunch, a sightseeing tour of Kandy (30 min), a show of national dances (16:30-17:30), a visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic (1 hour).
    Check-in at the hotel, rest and overnight.

    Transfer to Peradeniya, visiting the Royal Botanical Gardens (2 hours).
    Moving to Nuwara Eliya.
    On the way, visit a tea factory, see tea plantations, waterfalls (Ramboda Falls), lunch, beautiful scenery.
    Walk in Nuwara Eliya.
    Rest and overnight at the hotel.

  • DAY 4.

    Early in the morning (05:00) departure from the hotel to Horton Plateau. (Breakfast pack at the hotel to take away)
    Walk through the highest national park in Sri Lanka – Horton Plateau.
    Transfer to beach hotel or airport.
    On request, part of the road can be traveled by train.

    Overnight at the selected hotel or arrival at the airport.

    Walk near the waterfall Ravana Ella,
    Arrival in Tissamaharama.

    Early morning at 05:00 arrival to Yala National Park.
    Jeep safari in the park.
    Return to the hotel.
    After a short rest, transfer to a beach hotel.
    On the way we visit a turtle farm and Galle Fort.
